Dedicated to Helping Injured Workers

SHELLEY
K. EDLING
Attorney at Law
Although we all hope work injuries
will not befall our friends, family, or acquaintances, sometimes they do. In such cases, experienced
legal representation may be needed. I have been handling workers’ compensation cases
since 1980. In 1994 I opened my law office in Hillsboro, Oregon for the sole purpose of providing
quality assistance to Oregon’s injured workers.
I was born in Hood River, Oregon, and graduated from Wahtonka High School in The Dalles, Oregon. I attended Oregon State University, Utah State University, and Universidad de las Americas in Mexico, and
received both my Batchelor of Science and Doctor of Jurisprudence from Brigham Young University. Admittance to the Oregon State
Bar was in April of 1980, and for the first 14 years of my legal career I represented insurance companies and large self-insured
employers with an emphasis primarily on workers’ compensation matters. I became a partner in
the Portland law firm of Roberts, Reinisch, Mackenzie, Healey and Wilson.
In addition to teaching classes on workers’ compensation to other attorneys as part of their continuing legal education
requirements;
I have served in various capacities on Oregon State Bar committees; and, am currently a member of the Executive Committee of the
Workers’ Compensation Section of the Oregon State Bar.
I am pleased to put my many years of experience to use representing injured workers in our area. I look forward to meeting you, or your referral.
SHERI RAHN
Medical Assistant

Sheri Rahn is our medical assistant. She graduated from Weston High School in Eastern Oregon. Having always enjoyed
people, Sheri decided on a career in assisting them through nursing, and graduated from the Good Samaritan Hospital School of
Nursing in 1973. Sheri worked as an Intensive Care Nurse for 10 years. She was then instrumental in setting up a clinic in the
small town where she lived. Sheri began working for our office in 2000 as a medical assistant, where she is still able to use her
expertise. Sheri is a valuable member of our team and a true asset when it comes to answering clients' questions or dealing with
the voluminous medical records we receive. She enjoys putting her vast medical knowledge to good use by helping injured
workers. We are lucky to have her cheerful presence in the office, and clients enjoy her pleasant, encouraging
manner.
